Sarah Ramos Hernandez passed away on December 11, 2010. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel, Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. for the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Sarah was born on November 14, 1926 in Guadalupe County to Jose, Sr. and Juanita Salazar Ramos. She is preceded in death by her husband, Valerio Hernandez, Sr., her daughter, Mary Louise Rodriguez and by her son, Valerio "Chuche" Hernandez, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Abel Hernandez and wife Mary, Ruben Hernandez and wife Laura and Arturo Hernandez and wife Aracely; daughters, Alicia Garcia and husband John, Ester Gonzalez and husband Francisco and Rosalinda Esquivel and husband Guadalupe; daughter-in-law, Nadine Hernandez; son-in-law, Santos Rodriguez; brothers, Jose Ramos, Jr. and wife Adelpha, Martin Ramos and wife Lucia, Albert Ramos and wife Sylvia and Ismael Ramos and wife Charlotte; sisters, Nancy Luna and husband Sammy and Viola Gonzalez and husband Manuel; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Young, III, Michael Garcia, Benton Garcia, Alvin Morales, Ruben Hernandez, Jr., Aaron Hernandez, Jeremy Hernandez, Robert Hernandez and Abel Hernandez, Jr.
