Sharon "Sherri" Grimes age 81,  of Seguin passed away on December 28th after a long illness with Alzheimer's.

She was born to Ben and Rowena Wilburn  on August 27, 1944. She grew in Colorado and loved to ski the Rocky Mountains often.
After graduating George Washington High School, she became a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. She flew with them for several years and was based out of Miami, Florida. It was there where she met her soulmate William "Bill" Grimes. They married and were together for 52 years.

Sherri loved to garden and spent many hours working yard and flowerbeds.
She also had a soft spot for animals. She spent many years volunteering at the Guadalupe Humane Society. She was a part of the board of directors, she worked the Santa Shop and other fundraising activities.

Sherri was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her brother Benny, and her husband Bill.

Her survivors include her son Benjamin Grimes( wife Kellie), her grandson Austin Grimes, and a great granddaughter Skylar Grimes.
