Shirley was called home to her heavenly father on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the age of 84. Shirley was born in Harlingen, Texas to Richard Henry Stolley Jr. and Grace Elizabeth Stolley on August 10, 1934. Her siblings are Phillip Darrell Stolley, Doris Stone & Susan Archer. Shirley was married to Richard Arlen Duncan and they had two children; William Richard Duncan & Peggy Arlene Duncan. Shirley loved the beach and enjoyed spending her younger years at their family beach home at Boca Chica Beach. Shirley has lived in Seguin for the past 23 years surrounded by family that she loved and cared for dearly. She lived at Remarkable Nursing Home for the last two and a half years where she made many friends that called her "Mamma Bear".  Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Richard Henry Stolley Jr. & Grace Elizabeth Stolley, her husband Richard Arlen Duncan, her brother Phillip Darrell Stolley, her son William Richard Duncan and her beloved fur babies Goober and Max. Surviving relatives include: Sisters, Doris Stone, Susan Archer & husband Allyn Archer; Daughter, Peggy Duncan; Grandchildren, Kimberly Lundquist & husband Dereck Lundquist, Jennifer Pargmann & husband Dillon Pargmann, Robert Gaston & wife Tonya Gaston, Holly Smith & husband Ricky Smith; Great-Grandchildren, Trent Lange, Samantha Smith, Riley Pargmann, Cameron Gaston, Ethan Pargmann, Rylee Smith, Luke Gaston & Hailey Gaston and Great Great-Granddaughter Elaina Pittman. A Celebration of Life for Shirley Ann Stolley Duncan will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 PM at The Big Red Barn – Texas Agriculture Education & Heritage Center 390 Cordova Road, Seguin, Texas 78155.
