Simona Delgado Aguirre, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on December 26, 2017. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 4 p.m. followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the San Geronimo Cemetery. Simona was born on October 28, 1929 in Lockhart, TX to Nazario and Petra (Vasquez) Delgado. She is preceded in death by her son, Andrew Aguirre, Sr.; daughter, Maria Luisa "Lulu" Aguirre; her parents, and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Agapito G. Aguirre; daughters, Irene Nieto (Steve), Gracie Jimenez (Cruz), Vicki Aguilar (Hector), Cindy Aguirre-Herrera (Jesse); 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters Faustina Resendez, Lupe Molina; brothers, Macario Delgado, Sr., and Prudencio "Pule" Delgado (Lina); numerous other loving family members.
