Obituary

Stephanie Skinner-Trotter, age 49 of Seguin, passed away on August 11, 2024.  Stephanie was born on December 3, 1974 in Fort Worth, Texas to Cindy (Ruddick) and Robert Wofford.  Stephanie received her Associate in Arts Substance Abuse Counseling from Odessa College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011.

She managed Locktite Storage and Seguin Office Center in Seguin for seven years.  Later she started her own business Veritas Marketing in 2019.  She worked for RPM Storage Management from 2021 to the present.  She enjoyed serving as Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador for several years.

Beyond her professional life, Stephanie was a person of immense generosity and love.  She had an extraordinary ability to make other feel special and appreciated, always going out of her way to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word.  Stephanie had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that was even bigger.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Myra (Freeman) and Richard Whitten who raised her and her father-in-law whom she cared for, Carroll Trotter.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Trotter; her parents, Cindy Ruddick and Robert Woford; children, Hannah Bromegem, Cameron Reed, Joe Dalton Baker, Shelby Trotter and Kamon Trotter; grandchildren, Kynlee Bromegem, Auhstin Red, Aubree Baker, Copeland Trotter and Liliana Cardoza; sisters, Jesica Smith and Sara Smith; special aunt, Tangi Smith and Robbie Boaze; mother-in-law, LaNita Bangeman; best friend, Kimberly Wood; beloved fur baby, Brodie; numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of life service is being planned for early fall.  Please check back on this site for details.
