Steve J. Nichols, age 45 of Kingsbury, Texas went to join our Lord on August 2, 2011. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday August 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos. A celebration of Life Service will follow at Friedens United Church of Christ in Geronimo at 12 Noon with Pastor John Roberts officiating. A reception will follow in the Friedens Church Fellowship Hall. Steve was born on December 3, 1965 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Tommy and Caroline Nichols. Steve found and grew to love Sheila and built a life and history together. Steve's favorite past time was watching NASCAR, fishing and helping friends. Steve is survived by his wife Sheila, his daughters, Melissa and Samantha, grandson, Kobe, his mom, Caroline, His brother Brad and wife Michelle, nieces Tiffany, Ashlie, Brittany and Stephani, nephews, Brant, Chad, Scott, Stefan, Jason and many other family members who loved him dearly. Steve's wish is for a celebration of his life, never a sorrow in his death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nichols' Family Memorial Fund.
