Sue Ellen “Sudy” Bruns, age 83 of Seguin, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2026. Sudy was born on December 21, 1942, in Rawlins, Wyoming, to Sue and Oliver McClellan.

Sudy is preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law, Thomas Bruns, and her nephew, John Bruns.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Joe H. Bruns; her two sons, Winston Bruns and wife Sara, and Morgan Bruns and wife Marissa; grandchildren, Ryker, Soleil, Micah, Oliver, and Charlie Bruns; siblings, Nancy Koenig, Celeste McClellan, and Barr McClellan; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bauer and husband Syd, and Martha Bruns; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Sudy’s life will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with the Reverend Stephen Shortess officiating. A reception will follow in the family home.
