Sue Ellen Thuleen Taft, age 91 of Seguin, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2025.

Sue was born on May 15, 1934 in Burlington, Iowa to Edith Lenora (Murphy) and Edwin Kenneth Thuleen.

Sue is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Lavern Erwin Taft, her daughters, Tamera Taft and Kimberly Stange, her son, Kevin Taft, her parents, and her brothers Ken Thuleen, Harry Thuleen; and sister-in-law Lucy Thuleen.

Survivors include her son-in-law Donald Stange; daughter-in-law Katherine Taft; grandchildren, Shawn Taft, Jason Taft, Koen Taft, Paul Stange and Holly Stange; brother, Frank Thuleen; sisters-in-law Thelma Thuleen and Sue Thuleen; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Private interment will be held in San Geronimo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
