Sydney Ann Dickey, age 8 of Seguin, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2013. A memorial service celebrating Sydney's life will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lifegate Church with Rev. Robert Odom and Rev. Joshua Benavidez officiating. A reception will follow in the Lifegate Fellowship Hall. Private interment will take place at a later date. Sydney was born on July 13, 2004 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio to William Troy and Robin Denise Syfrett Dickey. She was a student at Weinert Elementary in Seguin. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia Ann Syfrett and her great-grandfather, Cecil Fox. Survivors include her loving parents, Troy and Robin Dickey; brother, Russell Blackketter; sisters, Nikki Blackketter, Shelby Dickey, Cheyenne Dickey, and her twin, Savannah Dickey; grandparents, Tom Dickey, Joe Syfrett, Barbara Fox and Brian Bush; great-grandmother, Inez Fox; aunts, Cindy Paty and husband Kriss, and Stacy Jones; uncle, Kelly Syfrett and wife Jo Ann; numerous other loving family members and friends. Sydney's first cousins, Jordan, Kirsten, Bobby, Hailey and Sarah, will serve as honorary pallbearers. Sydney brought much joy to many. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
