Syleta Baker Parr, age 88 of Seguin, formerly of Alice and Freer, passed away on February 18, 2018. Services and interment will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in San Antonio with The Reverend Russell Sherman officiating. Syleta was born on January 13, 1930 in San Antonio, Texas to Willie Arthur and Rosa Lena (Hornsby) Baker. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Fred Baker and John Baker. Survivors include her son, Darrold Thomas Guinn; daughter, Susan Jones; daughter-in-law, Tonya Guinn; grandchildren, Amanda Erin Guinn, and Jason Jones and wife Erin; sister, Billie Jean Pickens; brother, Bill Baker; sisters-in-law, Carla Baker and Mary Jo Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Baker, Johnny Baker, Gavin Ramsey, Danny Ramsey, Steve Bailey and Cody Bailey. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 611 N.
