Teresa Perez Leal, age 59 of Seguin, passed away on November 16, 2022.  Teresa was born on June 30, 1963 in Seguin, Texas to Juana C. Perez.

Teresa married the love of her life, Mario A. Leal on June 13, 1981.  They were happily married for 41 years. Together they were blessed with three wonderful children April, Mario and Joel.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Teresa was mama or grandma to a few, but Tia Terrie to many.

No matter the occasion, Teresa loved being with her family and making warm meals for anyone who walked into her home. She was known for her good rice as her special ingredient was love. Teresa was a giving and selfless person, always willing to help those in need. Her love was immeasurable, and her smile could brighten up a room.

Teresa is preceded in death by her mother Juana C. Perez, grandparents, Manuel and Maria Castillo. Survivors include husband, Mario Leal Sr.; daughter, April Leal; sons, Mario Leal Jr. and Joel Leal (Angel Guadarrama); grandchildren, Jordan, Gregory, Xyllah, Melahani, Santana and Rory Leal; Sisters, Belinda (Domingo Alverez), Grace (Lynn Kraft), Rachel (Alex Ramirez), Delia Perez; Brother, Ernest (Elizabeth Perez); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Tres Hewell Mortuary, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. with Deacon Victor Garcia officiating. A procession will depart from Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
