Terrence Fredrick O'Brien,of New Braunfels, TX passed away January 19, 2009 at the age of 82. He served in the US Navy during WWII on a Destroyer in the Pacific, later retiring as a major after 22 years of honorable service. He received his Bachelors Degree from Denver University then went on to obtain his Masters Degree in Education at the University of North Dakota. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels, TX. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jo Anne O'Brien of New Braunfels, TX; sons, Timothy O'Brien and wife Janet of Denver, CO, Shawn O'Brien and wife Mari of Boerne, TX, Michael O'Brien and wife Susanne of New Braunfels, TX and Kerry O'Brien and wife Susan of Colorado Springs, CO; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five brothers; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels, TX.
