Thusnelda M. Friedeck, age 88 of Seguin, passed away on September 6, 2011. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Thusnelda was born on August 16, 1923 in Guadalupe County to Willie Mayer and Elsie Mayer Schroeder. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Earline Mayer. Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Marvin Friedeck; daughters, Sandy Clopton and husband Rusty, Jeannie Hall and husband Tom, and Earlene Jarzombek and husband Jerald; sister, Esther Mayer; grandchildren, Russell Clopton and wife Pam, David Clopton and wife Susan, Stephanie Warncke, Emily Warncke, Jaclyn Ruli and husband Joseph, Julie Jarzombek and Jake Jarzombek; great-grandchildren, Paul, Verona and Joseph Clopton, John Thomas and Madeleine Ruli; brother-in-law, Helmuth Friedeck and wife Evelyn; sisters-in-law, Elnora Friedeck Dove and Lucille Friedeck Tschoepe; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
