With loved ones by her side, Tracy Lynn Murdoch, age 57 of Bishop, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Tracy was born on June 1, 1967, to Jay Dee and Leslie Murdoch in Alice, Texas.

After earning her Associate's Degree and Registered Nursing Certification from Howard Junior College, Tracy devoted her life to helping others as a triage nurse, director of nursing, and leader of patient care teams. Her caring heart and hands guided so many individuals and families to healing and comfort whether it was home health, hospice or even at summer camps.

Tracy's smiles, hugs, sense of humor, and spirit of adventure shined through in every occasion. She loved all animals, especially her dog Willow and cat Kevin.

Tracy loved her family deeply; she was proud of her nieces and nephews and would brag on them often.

Tracy is survived by her mother, Leslie Murdoch; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Corky Murdoch and Doug and Judy Murdoch; her beloved nieces and nephews, Megan and Colby Cross, Matt and Ashley Murdoch, Cayce and Justin Marburger, Mike and Audrey Murdoch, Cody and Jonquil Murdoch, and Jay Murdoch and his fiancé Amanda; Auntie T is also survived by her precious great nieces and nephew, Whitleigh, Elliott, Leighton, Ryleigh and Ian. Her uncle and aunt, Robert and Sue Murdoch; beloved extended family and dear friends near and far, she was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father, Jay-Dee Murdoch. Her grandparents, Ora Ricci, JM Guttery and Tuddy and Papa Murdoch. Her aunt and uncles, Arella and Glenn Purdum, and Steve Guttery.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Premont Cemetery in Premont, Texas with Pastor Lee Ortegon.
