Patrick and his wife Kathleen added to the joy of their family with two sons: Travis, his namesake and Zane Gray. He grew up on the family ranch near Seguin, Texas and graduated from Seguin High School. Travis earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from Southwest Texas State College, now Texas State University. Following his service he returned to his career in the insurance business where he served as a Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter (C.P.C.U.) He and his family lived in Bedford, Texas for 30 years. Travis and his wife served as wonderful parents to their children and remained actively involved in their lives.
