Trenton "Trent" Gary Phillips, age 22 of Seguin, passed away on September 22, 2023.  Trent was born on April 6, 2001, in Seguin, Texas to Tammie Lynn (Dove) and Walter Harold Phillips, III.

Trent is preceded in death by his grandmother, Bettye Dove.

Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy N. Buchanan; parents, Walter and Tammie Phillips; children, Summer Lynn Phillips and Trenton Gary Phillips, Jr.; sisters, Taylor Phillips, Edith "Edie" Phillips, and Brooke Welsh (Boo Thing); grandparents, Barbara Crouch and Connie Buchanan; mother-in-law, Bonnie Buchanan, numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, other loving family members, and friends.

Trent loved his cars and bikes. Every vehicle he had he transformed them into his vision. He was a free-spirited man, the life of the party. Fishing at Port A was his place to be and feeding his donkey "Buddy" pizza was also a fun enjoyment for him. Trent was a big family man. He loved his wife, children, and parents. He loved cookouts, helping his dad with Thanksgiving, his sisters' green bean casserole, his mom's cooking of everything, especially her enchiladas, chicken, and dumplings, and their love of seafood together. Trent took a bike ride with his dad on Thursday night, and he told his dad he really enjoyed it and was looking for another day soon. Trent will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Max Starcke Park East at the large pavilion in Seguin, Texas.
