Twila Ann Mount was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, companion, friend and "GiGi". She went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2021 at the age of 56. She was born on September 24, 1964 to Anthony and Betty Pitts in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Twila was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "GiGi". She had a compassionate heart that extended to her love of animals. She cared for many pets throughout her life, and will be greatly missed by her devoted puppy Macy.

Twila is preceded in death by her grandparents, Loyd and Pauline Heim, her father, Anthony Pitts Sr., and her husband, Layton Smith.

Survivors include her Son, Dalton McOsker and Fiance Hannah Stahl; Daughter, Darby Mendoza and husband Thomas Mendoza; Life Partner, Gary Shehane; Step-Daughters, Daven Sarsfield and husband Richard, Cathy Woods and husband Bobby, Lisa Guardiola; Mother, Betty Welwood; Sisters, Starla Surprenant and husband Rick, Mandy Lowe and husband Chris; Brother, Anthony Pitts Jr., and wife Diana; Step-Sister, Roxanne Blom and husband Martin; Sister-In-Law, Debbie Seiler and husband Morgan; Brother-In-Law, Bobby Shehane and wife Amy; Grandchildren, Kamden Mendoza; Step-Grandchildren, Stephanie Scott and husband Chris, Summer Woods and boyfriend Chris, Autumn Davila and fiancé Tristan, Destiny Guardiola and fiancé Mason, David Guardiola, Malachi Guardiola; 12 great grandchildren and numerous precious nieces and nephews.

She truly had a servant's heart, was a hard worker and always put aside her own needs for those of others. If you were loved by Twila……. There was no question-you knew it. For all of those who had this privilege, she will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

A viewing for the immediate family will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. A Celebration of life to follow at 4 p.m. at Soel Venue, 112 Donegan St., Seguin, Texas 78155.
