Velma Lee Green Talk, devoted Christian, went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2013 with her family at her side. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Dugger Cemetery with Rev. Frank Willoughby officiating. Velma, age 64, was born October 9, 1948 to Johnny, Sr. and Margie Green. James and Velma will also be remember as wonderful and devoted foster parents in Guadalupe County. She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Green, Sr. and great grandson, Landon James Adams. She will be laid to rest by her husband of 47 years, James William Talk, Sr.; children, Lisa Wears and husband Dammon, James Talk, Jr. and wife Mary Jane, Sherry Neria and husband Peter, Sr. and Brent Talk and wife Michele; grandchildren, Masie Adams and husband Justin, Sarah Talk, Colton Talk, Marissa Talk, Delaney Garcia, James Talk III, Peter Neria, Jr., Dylan Talk, Katelyn Neria, Brooke Talk and Trinity Wears; great grandchildren, Allie Adams, Korah Adams and Jasper Adams; mother, Margie Smith and husband John; sisters, Ginger Comstock and husband Jack and Martha Lutz and husband Doug; brother, Johnny Green, Jr. and wife Connie and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
