Vicki Lea Hudgens, age 78 of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on November 4, 2020.  Vicki was born on June 16, 1942 in San Marcos, Texas to Cleo Marie (Ballard) and William Alexander Vinyard.  Vicki spent her free time reading and spending time with her loved ones. Her love for books led to a career in education and accounting.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Marie (Ballard) and William Alexander Vinyard.  She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Hudgens of 62 years.  Their Children, Michael and Wife June Hudgens, Tammy and Husband Terry Lucas and Shelly and her Husband Michael Rudnicki.  Grandchildren, Michael and Wife Heather Hudgens, Amanda and Husband Thomas Scott, Blake Hudgens, David and Wife Stephanie Townsend, Devrie and Husband Josh Grimm, Brandin Hudgens, Drayten and Wife Lauren Hudgens, Darien Townsend and Taz Lucas.

Great-Grandchildren, Ty Hudgens, K'Lynn Scott, Tory Hudgens, Bayler Scott, Brice Hudgens, Madden Benningfield, Koa Hudgens, Zaya Scott, Chloe Grimm, Gauge Hudgens, Aubree Hudgens and David Townsend III.  Her brother, Jerry and Wife Ellette Vinyard and their kids. Vicki was loved by so many family members and friends including her extended family David and Shannon Townsend.

A memorial service celebrating Vicki's life will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Michael Moak officiating.  All cdc protocols must be followed including social distancing and face coverings worn at all times.  Private interment will be held at a later date.
