Victoria P. Betancourt, age 92 of Crystal City and Seguin passed away on October 30, 2016. Visitation will begin at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 5 p.m. followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Private interment will be held at a later date at Benito Juarez Cemetery in Crystal City, Texas. Mrs. Betancourt was born on May 4, 1924 in Pearsall, Texas to Teodulo and Dora (Garcia) Perez. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Betancourt Chavez, her parents, her sister Lilia Martinez, brother, Teodulo Perez, Jr., and her two infant children. Survivors include her children, Maria Guadalupe Betancourt, Vickie De La Rosa and husband Homer, and Jose Betancourt; grandchildren, Christine De La Rosa, Yvonne Monica De La Rosa, Veronica Ann Ramirez and husband Adam, and Tiffany Victoria Betancourt; great-grandchildren, Abram Nathanael Ramirez, Sofia Josephine Ramirez, Isaac Matthias Ramirez, and Joana Victoria Ramirez; sister, Ofilia P. Perales; sister-in-law, Consuelo Betancourt; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Martinez, Alejandro Guerra, Alejandro Luis Guerra, Joseph A. Gorordo, Yvonne Monica De La Rosa, Adam R. Ramirez, and honorary pallbearers Joe I. Martinez, Abram Nathanael Ramirez and Isaac Matthias Ramirez. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin, 921 W.
