Violet Gonzales, age 44, entered into eternal rest on September 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Violet was born on July 25, 1978 in Seguin, Texas to Ruby Ann (Castillo) and Francisco A. Gonzales.

Violet is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ventura and Gregorio Gonzales, Hilaria Castillo and Ruben Escobar, her uncle, Pedro Gonzalez and her aunt, Margie Casarez.

Survivors include her sons, David Jimenez, Jordan Jimenez, and Gianni Carrizales; daughter, Skilyn Mendez; grandchildren, Brave'eyn Hernandez and Kaicilius Carrizales; parents, Francisco and Ruby Gonzales; siblings, Christina Gonzales, Pedro (Amanda) Gonzales, and Francie (Austin) Spicer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

Violet had a passion for mathematics that helped her thrive in her career.  She also loved being by water, especially the river.  Violet will be remembered as the one always taking pictures for the "archives" and attaching the word "thirty" to everything.

Violet will be missed immensely by everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 5 p.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date.
