Virginia M. Jahns, age 86 of Seguin, passed away February 8, 2008. Visitation will be held Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with Reverend Jeremy Roy and Reverend Rusty Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Dugger Cemetery. She was a member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church where she was active in food preparation for Senior Services. Virginia was an avid steamstress, traveler, Domino player: 42 and 48 and Canasta player. She loved cooking and canning; especially known for her chicken and dumplings, black-eyed peas, and sweet pickles. Aunt Jennie found great joy spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Campbell and husband Pete of Seguin; grandchildren, Randy Campbell and wife Mary of Keller, Rev. Rusty Campbell of Walburg and Robin Kunkel of Seguin; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Campbell both of Keller and Koy and Kamryn Kunkel both of Seguin; sisters, Pearl Graham and Inez Roe; brothers, Paul Knodel and Edgar Knodel and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Perry R. Graham, Ken Graham, Patrick Graham, Brian Wallace, John Wallace, and Lee Roy Schievelbein. Campbell Floors will be closed Monday Afternoon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe Regional Hospital Foundation and Dugger Cemetery Association.
