Virginia Switters (nee Tenhoff) 90, was called home on Nov. 10, 2010 in Seguin, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her husband Tim in '01, her son Tim in '09 , brother Herman in '63 and her parents, Ida and Herman Tenhoff. Virginia is survived by her daughter Ida (James) Andel, and daughter in law Debra Kupczak, along with grandsons Brad and Chris (Angie) Kupczak and great -grandchildren Tyler, Keirsten, Abby, and Lexy Kupczak. Virginia is also survived by her sister in Holland, Elizabeth (Weitze) Zijlstra, nieces Frederika ( Klaus ) Kimpel, Marlies (Joop) den Hartog, nephews Herman (Mary) Tenhoff and Dale Tenhoff, along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Virginia was born in Detroit on Feb 18, 1920 and moved to Holland with her family age at the age of 6, where she later met her husband and continued to live until they came to the Chicago area 1948. Virginia was a bookkeeper before retiring to St. Germain, Wi in 1971. Virginina and her husband of 58 years loved to travel and they became winter Texans in '87 before Virginia moved to Texas permanently in 2001. She will always be remembered as a lover of animals and a friend and mother with a ready smile, hand to lend, ear to listen and heart to give. May she find true happiness as she is reunited with her heavenly father and earthly family.
