Walter Gustav Engelmann, Jr., age 80 of Seguin, passed away on November 25, 2016. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Engelmann Cemetery in Selma, TX. A reception will be held at the Seguin Silver Center at 2 p.m. Walter was born on March 23, 1936 in Three Rivers, TX to Walter, Sr. and Elsie (Rusch) Engelmann. He graduated from LeTourneau Tech in Longview, TX with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Science. He loved antique tractors and restored an antique pick-up. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Engelmann. Survivors include his wife Brenda Engelmann; son, Douglas Engelmann and wife Norma; daughters, Lisa Johnson, Tracy Engelmann and Shannon Lewis and husband Curtis; nine grandchildren; sister, Ruth Owens; brother, Rev. James Engelmann and wife Glenda; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. Serving as pallbearers Alvoid Hartfield III, Codie Brooks, Jevon Lewis, Ed Herrera, Korey Engelmann, Robert Brannon, Talbert Engelmann, Todd Engelmann and Bruce Vecera.
