Walter G. (Bud) Adcock age 84 of Seguin, passed away on April 21, 2011. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Private graveside services will be held later in the Floresville City Cemetery with Chaplain Jeremy Roy officiating. Bud was born on July 5, 1926 in Sutherland Springs, Texas to Walter G. Sr. and Pearl Harrison Adcock. He was a 1943 graduate of Sutherland Springs High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated a wholesale auto parts store in Seguin and later worked for Weyel Buick. Bud loved deer hunting and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Mae Dismuke Adcock, his parents and his sisters, Jewel Wright, Helen Christy and Bertha Naumann. Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Jacobus and husband Gerald Noethen; grandchildren, Carrie Anderson and husband David, Casey Jacobus, Shelly Jacobus and Haley Jacobus; great-grandchildren, Noah Anderson and Ethan Anderson; many friends at Eden Cross Apartments.
