Obituary

Walter Wallace Palmer, age 92 of Seguin, passed away on December 8, 2024.  Walter was born on March 5, 1932 in Yoakum, Texas to Lonnie Mae (Graham) and Walter William Palmer.

Walter grew up in the Converse Area near Randolph Air Force Base.  He was a 1950 graduate of Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas.  He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy.  His favorite job throughout his life was working for twelve years at Eastern Airlines.  He and his family enjoyed many travels.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Grace Digulla and Mae Lea Lent.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Betty Palmer; son, Bradford Palmer; grandson, Brandon Palmer and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Grace Palmer, Glory Palmer and Luke Palmer; numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Tom Jones officiating.  Private burial will be held in the Harwood Cemetery in Harwood, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 ST. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105-9959.
