Wanda Baxter, age 87, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on November 12, 2023. She was born in Olney, Texas on July 6, 1936, to Effie Lee (Cole) and Charlie Freese.

Wanda is preceded in death by her mom and step-father Jesse E. Hogan, her sister Charlene Nunley, her brother Bobby Hogan, her great-grandsons Michael Brawley, Brendon Brawley, and Levi Morse.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Donald Baxter; her son, Edward Baxter; her daughters, Jeanell Morse and Tammy Stewart; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Belknap Cemetery near Graham, Texas with Pastor Wayne Hardin officiating.
