Wanda Garcia, age 63 of Houston, formerly of Seguin, passed away on August 26, 2020. Wanda was born on October 14, 1956 in Lockney, Texas to Elisa (Villanueva) and Andres Garcia, Sr.  She is preceded in death by her father, her grandmother whom raised her, Carmelita Perez, her grandsons, Joseph Maldonado and Baby Angel Fernandez and her brothers, Domingo Garcia and John Garcia.  Survivors include her loving partner, Francisco Sanchez; daughters, Amanda Amaro, Alexandria Amaro, and Jessica Amaro and husband Benny Alvarez; grandchildren, Christian Leal, Freddy Martinez, Jocelyn Martinez, Bryan Maldonado, Jason Maldonado and John Paul Fernandez, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; mother, Elisa Villanueva Garcia; siblings, Gilbert Garcia and wife Rosemary, Emma Perez and husband Benny, Andres Garcia, Jr. and wife Josie, Rosa Garcia, Carmelita Martinez and husband Armando, Elisa (Helen) Cruz and husband Johnny, and Jacob Garcia and wife Patricia; aunt and uncle, Yolanda and Raul Guerrero; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions all CDC protocol must be followed including social distancing, limited seating and face coverings worn at both the church and cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Christian Leal, Bryan Maldonado, Jason Maldonado, John Paul Fernandez, Jr., Justin Marmolejo and Jeremy Porter.  You are invited to sign the guest book at www.treshewell.com .
