Wanda Lee Parker, age 88 of Seguin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Seguin followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville and Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Wanda was born on August 11, 1929 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Jesse Franklin and Gladys (Hamilton) Hogan. Wanda was a Christian who devoted her life to her faith and family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Seguin and Seguin Chapter #555 Order of the Eastern Star. Wanda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Parker, her daughter, Sandra Parker, her parents and her siblings, Delores Hatfield, Vivian Howard, Gloria Bruce, Donald Hogan, Jay Hogan, and Junior Hogan. Survivors include her children, Linda (Ron) Easterling of Victoria; Janet (Glen) Elles of Kingston Springs, TN; Dennis (Cindy) Parker of Schertz; Patricia Paschall of Austin; Susan Parker of Austin, and Sherri (Charlie) Hampton of Manor; grandchildren: Amber Leigh (Wesley) of Nashville, TN; April Klendworth (Chad) of Keller, Ryan (Persephone) Mikulec of Inez; Christopher (Debora) Parker of Spring Branch; Jason (Michelle) Parker of Cincinnati, OH; Paige Sartin of Austin; Lindsay Sartin of Austin; Neil Wade of Edna; and Seth Murdock of Ferris; sister, Frances Eades of Union Town, KY; brothers, Herbert Hogan of California and Guy Hogan (Frances) of Henderson, KY; 16 great-grandchildren, as well as 1 great great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
