William C. "Bill" Turberville, age 79 of Stockdale, Texas formerly of Edcouch, Texas passed away in New Braunfels, Texas on Thursday, February 14, 2019 after complications from pneumonia. Bill was born on November 21, 1939 in Mercedes, Texas to Hannis and Lottie (Klopek) Turberville. The Turberville's moved to Stockdale, Texas in August 2000 after retiring from farming. Bill was on the board of Directors for the Production Credit Association for many years as well as the Board of Directors for Elsa CoOp Gin. He is preceded in death by his daughter Patsy and granddaughter Keitha and his parents. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margie Turberville; son, Billy Turberville and wife Vanessa of Stockdale; grandsons, Sam Turberville and Cody Turberville and wife Justine all of Stockdale; great-grandson, Cole Turberville of Stockdale; sister, Caroline Glazer and husband Morey of Dallas; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, numerous other loving family members and friends. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with Rev. Deric Zies officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joe Tognetti officiating.
