William Lance Blackburn, age 55 of Seguin, passed away on June 12, 2025.  Lance was born on May 15, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to Barbara Ann (Rogers) and William Ray Blackburn.

William Lance Blackburn, age 55 of Seguin, passed away on June 12, 2025.  Lance was born on May 15, 1970 in Dallas, Texas to Barbara Ann (Rogers) and William Ray Blackburn.

Lance grew up in Plano and attended Plano High School, then transferred and graduated from Van Alstyne High School Class of 1988.  He then attended University of Oklahoma for two years where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, making many life-long friendships along the way.  He transferred to Baylor University and graduated from the Hankamer School of Business in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.  Lance worked in sales, primarily in dental sales and lately in commercial real estate sales.  "Friday Night Lights" were always a staple in the Blackburn family as Lance will be remembered as the "Voice of the Panthers" at the football games.  He was always actively involved in his children's school activities in the Navarro School District and was an active member of the Panther Posse Club.

Lance is preceded in death by his father and his step-father, David Amosson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Heather Blackburn; children, Landry Blackburn, Rilyn Blackburn, and Fischer Blackburn; mother, Barbara Amosson; sister, Wendi Blackburn Reagan and husband, Thomas; nephews, Jackson and Blake Reagan; niece, Maddie Reagan; aunt, Patricia McDonough and husband John; numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.

A memorial service celebrating Lance's life will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Living Waters Church.  A reception will follow.  In honor of Lance please feel free to wear his favorite colors blue or crimson for his favorite college football team OU.
