William "Bill" Bryan Sadler of Seguin, Texas passed away on January 7, 2019 at age 69. Bill was born on June 22, 1949 in Denton, Texas, to Jack Wayne and Mary Frances (Darnell) Sadler. Bill graduated with a business/marketing degree from Oklahoma City University and worked as a regional and national manager for American Automobile Association, (AAA) in Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Eventually, he opened his own real estate brokerage business in Sherman, Texas. After retirement, Bill moved to Seguin and worked as a bus driver with Seguin and Navarro ISDs, which afforded him daily contact with children, their families and the local community. Bill loved golf, sailing and baseball (particularly watching his Grandson).
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jack Wayne Sadler. Survivors include his loving daughter Melissa Sadler-Nitu and husband, Rudy Vera; grandson, Brandon Alex Sadler; mother, Mary Frances Sadler; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Sam Kuykendall; former wife and friend, Sarah Cathy Kirk; nieces Sarah Butler and husband Christopher, Sydney Erin Donavan and husband Clay, numerous cousins, extended family, and many friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Cross Church (814 N. Bauer St.). Reverend Jim Price will officiate and a reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Private interment will take place at a later date in the Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. Memorial contributions (in lieu of flowers) may be made to Cross Church, 814 N. Bauer St., Seguin, Texas, 78155.
