William D. (Bill) Rauch, age 60 of Seguin, passed away on May 1, 2011. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Willie Spreen officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Bill was born on December 5, 1950 in Seguin, Texas to David Carl and Elva Mildred Babel Rauch. He was a long time employee of the Seguin Independent School District. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Lucile Rauch; daughters, Melinda Weber and husband Kevin, Rachel Holub and husband James, Rebecca Schulz and husband Clay, and Cheryl Vaughn and husband Timothy; sister, Wilma Roberts and husband Vernon; brother, Charles Shindler and wife Becky; grandchildren, William, Brandon, Ashley, Dorianne, Lisa, Justin, Kasaundra, Makayla, Bryant and Kendall; nieces, Dallas and Nicole; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Bill will be remembered for his awesome and wonderful sense of humor and will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
