Mr. William E. Eure, age 74 of Seguin, passed away on September 25, 2008. Viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2008 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony O'Keith Terrell officiating. Bill was born on June 25, 1934 in Norfolk, Virginia to William Henry and Inez Fentress Eure. He served proudly in the United States Air Force and served his Lord as a deacon at New Hope Baptist Church. He was a vocational instructor at Gary Job Corp and after his retirement he will be remembered as working in the hardware department at Wal-Mart. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James O. Eure and wives, Petra R. Eure and Rosie G. Eure. Survivors include his daughters, Loretta I. Eure and Sally Ann Johnson; siblings, Joseph Eure, Willie C. Eure, Johnie Eure, Alfonzo Eure, Shirley James and Clifton Eure; grandchildren, Desiree, Curtis and Devine; numerous nieces and nephews.
