William (Bill) H. Koehler, age 89 of McQueeney, passed away on October 25, 2011. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich and Pastoral Assistant Willie Spreen officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Bill was born on November 29, 1921 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Willie Gus and Pearl Matilda Blumberg Koehler. He owned and operated Simplex Manufacturing Company in McQueeney. He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Will Koehler, William's sister, Dorine Koehler Ryan Caughey. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Annabelle Koehler; daughter, Christy Koehler Trammel and husband Ken; son, Terry Koehler and wife Lois Ann (Pixie); grandson, Ryan Koehler; nieces, Jody Stevenson and husband Rodney, and Jan Graetzel and husband Robert.
