William J. Kimes, age 62 of Seguin, passed away on January 10, 2020.  William was born on September 28, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Nathan M. Kimes and Virginia (Schubert) Kimes.  He was a proud graduate of Texas A & M University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major of Geology and a minor in Oceanography.  William worked as a geologist for several petroleum companies.  He is preceded in death by his mother.  Survivors include his loving daughters, Gwendolen Kimes and Lisebet Kimes; his fur babies, Albus and Crookshanks; other loving family members and friends.  Private services will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P.
