William (Bill) Leonard of Seguin and Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on February 17, 2014 at the age of 76. A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 23, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dr. Paul M. Cross officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Bill was born on March 17, 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas to C. Z. and Marcia (Rhoades) Leonard. He graduated from Seguin High School in 1955 where he will be remembered as a golf champion. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by his step-daughters, Ann Eckstein of Florida, Mimi Eckstein of LaGrange, and Joan Eckstein of Dallas; his sisters, Mary Frances Brawner and husband Lester, and Lenoir Hilbert and husband Jim; and numerous step-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
