William "W.A." McKinny, age 81 of Seguin, passed away on December 27, 2020. W.A. was born on September 4, 1939 in Seguin, Texas to Durward Alton and Ruby Olivia (Caddell) McKinny. W.A. will be remembered as a longtime employee with Springs Hill Water Company. He will be missed for his kind smile and being a loving father, grandfather and husband. W.A. is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Hill McKinny, brother, Tommy McKinny, niece, Tammy McKinny, and his brother-in-law, Larry Hill. Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Lana Wahl McKinny; children, Bryan Wayne McKinny and wife Teresa, Scott Alan McKinny and husband John Button and Craig Schneider and wife Sherry; grandchildren, Nicole McKinny, Danielle McKinny, Blake Schneider and Kandis Schneider; sister, Fay McKinney and husband Fred; sisters-in-law, Barbara McKinny and Janet Hill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Dugger Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Price officiating. All CDC protocols must be followed including social distancing and face coverings worn at all locations.
