William Jack Wigington

William Jack Wigington passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving parents, Chance and Madeline Wigington, and family.

Though William's time with us was far too short, his life was filled with meaning and purpose. His impact began the moment Madeline and Chance learned that he was joining their family. From that moment forward, William brought an immeasurable amount of love, hope, faith, and joy into their lives.

William's hobbies included sucking his thumb, kicking his mom in the ribs, and letting cries out for the world to hear. He was a fighter from the very beginning and wasted no time making his entrance into this world. He spent most of his life lying peacefully on Madi's chest while Chance rubbed his back and admired all of the perfect qualities God gifted him, including his Mueller-like cheeks.

William was loved beyond measure by his family, friends, and even by people who never had the opportunity to meet him. His strength and resilience throughout his short life inspired countless people and stirred a deep sense of compassion in those who followed his journey. Through William, we were given a glimpse of God's grace, mercy, and kindness.

William entered the world with a head full of beautiful, blonde curls. It is a sweet reminder of Matthew 10:30: “Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

Before we ever had the chance to meet William, the Lord already knew every perfect detail of him. He lovingly formed him and held his life in His hands.

William's life may have been brief, but it was never without purpose. He taught us that a life does not have to be long to be meaningful, and that love does not depend on the amount of time we are given. William will forever be loved, and his impact on our family and friends will be everlasting.
