Willie Nathan "Jr." Brooks, age 37 of Kingsbury, passed away on May 26, 2014. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Jones and District Elder Leonard Fennell officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. "Jr." was born on August 21, 1976 in Seguin Texas to Willie, Sr. and Linda Brooks. Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Jackie Brooks; daughter, Miranda Brooks; son, Zeaven "Little Willie" Brooks; parents, Willie and Linda Brooks; brothers, Ambrose Brooks and wife Keisha, Courtney Brooks and partner Kenneth Wade; sister, Ronda Brooks and husband G. J. Myart; nephews, Cameron Brooks, De'Andre Brooks and G. J. Myart, Jr.; niece Salija Myart; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Dennis Voigt; numerous other loving family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willie Brooks children's fund.
