Wilma Inez (Knodel) Roe, age 96, entered peacefully into rest on February 23, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.  She was born in Seguin, Texas on August 12, 1925 to Paul and Lily (Seay) Knodel.

Inez enjoyed a long and successful career in Civil Service at Kelly AFB.  In retirement, she enjoyed travel, volunteer work, and precious time with her grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "Moe".  She was loving and generous to a fault and will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Paul Knodel, Jr., sisters Virginia Jahns and Pearl Graham and granddaughter, Kelsey Roe.

Inez is survived by her brother, Edgar Knodel of Seguin; her three children, Mickey Roe of San Antonio, Dawn Roe Nguyen of San Antonio, and Sandy McLemore (James) of Parker, Colorado; as well as grandchildren Brook Van Natta, Mica Roe, Shelbee (Nguyen) Voges, Ryan Nguyen, Tyler Nguyen, Taylur Loera, Jamie McLemore and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Dugger Cemetery, Seguin, Texas.
