Wilton T. (Willie) Krause, age 71 of McQueeney, passed away on June 9, 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Willie was born on June 2, 1939 in Sattler, Texas to Otto, Sr. and Meta Schubert Krause. He served in the United States Army in Kansas during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Wilton Krause Septic and Mini Storage. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Herbold Krause, his parents, brother, Walter Krause, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hugo Sr. and Ossie Herbold, brothers-in-law, Alvin Herbold and Hugh Herbold and wife Barbara, and Roy Duelm and sister-in-law, Vivian Krause. Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Grimm and husband George; grandchildren, Shelley Grimm, Jason Grimm and Macey Grimm; sisters, Emmie Sahm and husband Clarence, Marilyn Duelm; brothers, Raymond Krause and wife Helga and Otto Krause and wife Faye; brothers-in-law, Darvin Herbold and wife Kay, T. J. Herbold, Hugo Herbold, Jr. and wife Arlene and James Herbold and wife, Katie; sister-in-law, Mary Schneider and husband Darvin; special friend, Dorothy Bauer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and Guadalupe Valley Nursing Center for their loving care of Wilton.
