Winnie Angeline (Angie) Jones, age 62 of Marion, Texas formerly of Magnolia, Mississippi passed away on September 4, 2014. Private services and interment will be held at a later date. Angie was born on January 13, 1952 in Magnolia Mississippi to Clyde and Ursel (Odom) Jones. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Newman, her parents, her sisters, Joan Schepens and Dorothy Dunaway and her brothers, Charles Jones and William "Squeeky" Jones. Survivors include her former husband and now, partner, Marcus Newman; daughters, Marsha Newman-Bruno and husband Daryll, Pamela Newman, Melissa Newman-Williams and husband Deon and Hope Newman; sisters, Lelia Hamilton and husband Pete, Faye Lizana, and Wanda Martin and husband Danny; brothers, Mickey Jones and wife Darlene, David Jones and wife Kathy, and John Jones and wife Sally; several aunts and uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of one's choice.
