Yolanda Aviles Garcia, age 68, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on June 1, 2023. She was born in Seguin on April 13, 1955, to Trinidad (Morales) and Felix Aviles.

Yolanda was born in Seguin and raised in Geronimo. She met her husband Socorro and moved to Nixon, Texas in the early 1970s where they lived until they moved back to Seguin in 1997. She loved her Spanish Telenovela soap operas, her 2 puppies, and all of the other cats that she encountered. She enjoyed babysitting the children of the family. She and her friends loved getting together to have long conversations.

Her parents, her husband Socorro Garcia-Rangel, and her son Ricky Aviles preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Aviles (Kathy), and Socorro G. Aviles Jr.; sister, Mary Sanchez (Efraim); grandchildren, Christopher, Kristin, Brittany, Raven, Jeremiah, Geovannie, Christian, Mark, Ashley, Kristi, Larissa, Renae, and Chloe; daughter-in-law, Lisa; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
